29/F, The Chelsea, 69 Jervois St, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong
Overview
Finverse provides consent-based APIs and data integrations that let consumers share account information (balances, transactions, statements) with fintechs and financial institutions. Its core product is an account-aggregation/data pipe designed to support use cases like income estimates, credit checks, credit decisioning, financial tracking, cross-border payments verification and KYC. The company is live in four markets (Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam) with connections to 30 banks and early customers that are mostly SME lenders and BNPL providers. Finverse plans to launch in one new market per quarter and aims to cover about 75% of consumer and SME banks in each market over time. The startup intends to expand support to digital wallets, neobanks and other nontraditional institutions as those use cases grow in Asia. Founder Stephane Lesaffre previously led financial data integrations at NerdWallet, and Finverse was started in 2020.
