Fittr is an online fitness and health marketplace that generates personalized training schedules based on fitness objectives, available equipment, available time, and preferred exercise methods. The company was founded in 2016 by Jitendra Chouksey, Sonal Singh, Jyoti Dabas, Rohit Chattopadhyay, and Bala Krishna Reddy and is Pune-based. Its app has over five million downloads and about 250,000 active monthly users. In FY23 the platform generated revenue of Rs 84 crore with a core loss of Rs 41. Fittr has raised about $11.5 million in 2021 from investors including Surge (Peak XV's seed fund) and Elysian Park, and has raised a total of $17 million in equity funding to date. The company recently secured Rs 28 crore (roughly $3.5 million) in a fresh funding round led by Rainmatter. Fittr is a Pune, India-based health and fitness community platform led by CEO and founder Jitendra Chouksey. The company began as a small WhatsApp group and has grown into an engaged fitness community offering physical, mental and emotional well-being solutions built around awareness and education. Fittr is available on Android and iOS. The company raised $11.5M in a Series A to accelerate growth and expand into new markets, including North America, the UK and Singapore. Those international markets already account for about 30% of the company’s overall revenue. Fittr also plans to continue educating the Indian population around health and fitness as it scales.
