FlashPrep is a Bengaluru-based exam preparation companion that enables learners to study, practice and self-evaluate through tests and challenges. The platform emphasizes short 5–15 minute study sessions, science-backed practice techniques such as spaced repetition, and tools to track progress and identify weaknesses. Co-founded by Dhiresh Nagwani and Ashwini Dhekane (both IIT Kanpur alumni), the company launched its first Android and iOS versions in April 2021 after being established in October 2020. FlashPrep reports roughly 30,000 downloads and over 15,000 monthly active users, with early traction among NEET and UPSC aspirants. The product positioning highlights a “practice AI and mastery” approach to help users quantify progress and improve learning outcomes. The startup plans to use new funding to grow its user base and expand its product offerings.
