Flickstree is a curated, personalized video platform that creates free-to-watch videos to drive awareness, engagement, user acquisition and sales for partner brands using patented AI. The platform auto-generates branded video content with AI voiceover and script generation and ensures distribution via its apps, websites and over 150 publisher partners. Flickstree serves more than 200 brands worldwide and reports driving transactions of over $50 million annually, with an active user base of 25 million. The company combines in-house teams across branding, sales and distribution, digital marketing, machine learning and AI to produce and scale content. Flickstree currently has an active client base across India, the Middle East, South‑East Asia, the UK, Australia and the USA. With the new funding it plans to pursue global expansion and strengthen its products and technology. Flickstree operates an artificial intelligence-enabled video publisher network that creates and aggregates video content, embeds videos within publisher partners’ sites and apps, and provides a video player and monetization for publishers. The company reports more than 15 million users across its network. It was launched in 2016 by Saurabh Singh, Rahul Jain, and Nagender Sangra and is backed by accelerators including SOSV's MOX and Facebook’s FbStart. Flickstree plans to use new funds to further develop proprietary technology around video content and to expand into Southeast Asia. Later this year the company intends to enter social and shopping videos and open an affiliate revenue stream for publisher partners. Management also said a significant portion of the funds will go toward creation and aggregation of proprietary and vernacular content in and outside India.
