Flox Intelligence builds ‘physical AI’ platforms that combine real-time sensing, embedded systems, bioacoustics, and applied wildlife science to influence animal behavior and keep wildlife away from critical infrastructure. Its first commercial product, Edge, evolved from KTH Royal Institute of Technology research and has been field-validated for five years in harsh, low-connectivity environments. The system is already deployed at airports, rail corridors, roads, industrial sites, and agricultural and urban settings, logging more than 60,000 wildlife events across 27 species and demonstrating measurable reductions in wildlife presence. Current customers and partners include the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Gerald R. Ford International Airport, WWF, KWS Group, Boliden, and Alstom. Each deployment feeds data back into a growing biodiversity intelligence layer, strengthening future implementations and creating a non-lethal wildlife dataset. With new funding, the company plans to accelerate commercial rollouts across the U.S. and Canada and meet rising international demand.
