Flush of Color produces high-quality, customized, ready-to-wear human hair wigs using superior, non-chemically treated raw hair. The brand emphasizes hands-on customer service and a ready-to-wear approach that reduces post-purchase preparation time and cost for customers. Founder Fatou Diouf, a first-generation immigrant from West Africa and an Ohio University nursing graduate, started the company after experiencing hair shedding during pregnancy and finding available wigs poor quality or time-consuming to prepare. Until recently the company lacked sufficient capital for marketing. Clearco's ClearAngel funding is intended to enable strategic marketing expansion. Flush of Color will also gain access to ClearAngel's network and data-driven advice to help scale toward new revenue milestones.
