FoodRazor is a Singapore-based SaaS platform that digitizes invoice management for F&B companies by scanning paper receipts, extracting line-item data, and importing each item into accounting software. Its product provides restaurants with insights, price analytics, and tools to improve accounting workflows and purchasing decisions. The company says this helps restaurants make smarter purchase decisions and addresses the fact that more than 90% of restaurants still rely on manual back-end processes. Founded in 2015, FoodRazor has assisted more than 300 restaurants across Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, Hong Kong, Canada, the US, and the UK. The firm will use the seed capital to expand into new markets, strengthen its position as a global software platform, and support industries such as accounting, manufacturing, and logistics. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, FoodRazor is waiving a three-month subscription fee for customers.
