Found offers an integrated weight management program that combines clinician guidance, personal health coaching, community support and prescription interventions when needed. The startup emphasizes a holistic, personalized approach addressing sleep, mindful eating, movement, stress and biology while promoting body positivity. Since its 2020 launch, Found has helped members lose more than 300,000 pounds and reports average member weight loss of 10% by month six that is maintained thereafter. The service is available in 37 states (up from 31) at an average cost of about $100 per month and aims to reach nationwide availability by early 2022. Found says its annual run rate has grown 6x since the beginning of the year and it has assisted “tens of thousands” of members. The new capital will fund platform and infrastructure investment, user growth and hiring, and the company recently added a chief medical officer and a chief behavioral health officer to its leadership team.
