  • Little Otter

    Led · Equity · Feb 2025

Little Otter provides AI-powered virtual mental health care that treats children (0–18) and their families with a holistic, evidence-backed suite of services. Its platform uses advanced AI to triage patients, personalize services, and scale assessments alongside human clinicians. The company is available in 15 states and plans to expand state coverage to reach millions of families covered by Medicaid and commercial insurance. In 2024 Little Otter achieved 2.5x revenue growth and delivered over 56,000 care visits, with 85% of families reporting progress within six sessions and 71% of children achieving remission after 12 sessions. The company is unveiling a brand refresh and intends to continue leveraging data-backed outcomes to improve access and effectiveness. Founded in 2020 by Dr. Helen Egger and Rebecca Egger, Little Otter emphasizes clinical excellence across mild to severe conditions. Little Otter offers a precision digital mental health platform that assesses family needs via a questionnaire, delivers a personalized report, and matches families with a personal care lead who builds a tailored care plan. The platform provides virtual, on-demand integrated care with parenting specialists, early childhood-trained therapists, couples therapists and pediatric psychiatrists. Co-founded in May 2020 by Rebecca Egger and Dr. Helen Egger, the company emphasizes treating the whole family and uses proprietary assessment methods and data visualization. Little Otter reports 45% month-over-month growth and says 85% of families using its care plans reach clinical improvements within six sessions. It is currently available in California, Colorado, North Carolina and Florida and plans to be available nationally by 2023. The company aims to become an in-network benefit covered by insurance plans and employers while investing in a state-of-the-art tech and data platform and hiring a chief technology officer to scale.

  • Archive

    Participated · Series B · Feb 2025

Archive, founded in 2021 by Emily Gittins and Ryan Rowe, provides software that lets fashion brands and merchants create tailored resale platforms and peer-to-peer marketplaces. Its platform includes smart pricing, product feeds, warehouse management for intake, processing, repair and fulfillment, analytics for profits and costs, and integrations to connect with brands' existing tools and data. Archive says it can support global brands across multiple continents and already works with more than 50 brands, including New Balance, The North Face and Oscar de la Renta. The company faces competitors such as Trove and Treet but differentiates itself on global support. Archive has raised $54 million to date and recently closed a $30 million Series B. It plans to use the new funding to further develop its resale software, drive product innovation, and is planning to launch resale businesses for many new brands in 2025. Archive began in February 2021 as a peer-to-peer resale marketplace and has since built a warehouse management system to enable “managed resale” for brands and their logistics partners. The platform helps brands process returned, damaged, or exchanged inventory, assess repairs, and list items for resale at scale. Archive says its revenue has grown nearly 10x in the past 12 months and it is working with 32 brand partners, including The North Face, Oscar de la Renta, Cuyana, and Marimekko. The company expects to divert hundreds of thousands of items from landfills in the next year. Archive plans to use new capital to expand product development, build implementation and success teams, and pursue new verticals such as home goods and furniture. It is also expanding internationally, particularly in Europe, and growing its partnership network for cleaning, repair, and warehouse management. Archive builds white-label, brand-specific peer-to-peer resale marketplaces that let consumers buy and sell secondhand merchandise directly alongside a brand's existing retail experience. The platform is customized to match a brand’s look and feel and minimizes inventory and logistics since items are sold directly from seller to buyer. Archive is also developing capabilities for brands to list additional inventory such as returns or damaged items. The company launched in February 2021 and went live with five brands including Dagne Dover, Filippa K, M.M. LaFleur, The North Face and Oscar de la Renta, and says it has a pipeline of about 100 brands. Archive raised $8 million in new funding (bringing total funding to nearly $10 million) to scale its team, operations, and product and technology development. The company has not disclosed specific growth metrics, though the CEO described 'incredible traction' since launching.

  • Midi Health

    Participated · Series B · Apr 2024

Headquartered in Palo Alto, Midi Health operates a nationwide virtual clinic that addresses gaps in women’s healthcare from perimenopause and menopause to broader chronic and preventive needs. The company’s proprietary AI engine analyzes patient charts to personalize diagnosis, streamline scheduling and documentation, and continuously refine clinical protocols using one of the industry’s largest women’s-health datasets. Midi currently has insurance contracts that give more than 45 million U.S. women in-network access to its services, and over 25,000 patients seek care on the platform each week. Outcomes data show a 28-percentage-point increase in breast-cancer screening adherence, an 11-point rise in colorectal screening adherence, and up to a 13 percent reduction in total cost of care, alongside clinically significant reductions in A1c and LDL levels. The business complements its clinical model with an expanding specialist roster covering OB-GYN, cardiology, endocrinology, mood disorders, dermatology, longevity, and more. Recent executive hires from Tesla, Google, Meta, Lyft, and Omada Health signal a push to scale operations and brand awareness. Following its latest financing, Midi is valued at more than $1 billion and plans to broaden its AI capabilities and extend comprehensive women’s care across every life stage.
