Foundational Industries is developing AI-native factories that span design through production via a single orchestration layer combined with agentic robotics. The company aims to make introducing new products a software change rather than a plant overhaul, enabling faster, higher-quality domestic manufacturing. Foundational plans to reshore supply chains for AI data-center equipment as well as defense, energy, and medical sectors. Its first manufacturing facility is scheduled to launch at the end of the year and will focus on capacity for AI data-center hardware such as power, cooling, interconnect, and related physical infrastructure. The company was founded by leaders from Google's physical AI platform and executives from two of the nation's largest contract manufacturers.
