FreightWatch International is an Austin, TX–based global logistics security provider offering supply chain security solutions designed to prevent cargo theft. Its services include electronic freight security, 24/7 monitoring, security escorts, cargo assessments and intelligence, and end-to-end logistics security solutions for pharmaceutical, electronics and other consumer-focused industries. The company closed a $10M growth equity investment led by Bridge Investments LLC. CEO Barry Conlon said the additional capital will allow FreightWatch to focus on new sectors and expand its current client base. The firm also plans to invest the proceeds in new covert asset-tagging technologies. The funding is intended to support sector expansion and enhancement of its theft-prevention offerings.
