Friska is a chain of food-to-go restaurants founded in 2009 by Griff Holland and Ed Brown and based in Bristol. The company is built on a principle of delivering food made from fresh, quality and responsibly sourced ingredients. It currently operates nine outlets across Bristol, Birmingham and Luton Airport. Friska raised £3m in funding to support the roll out of the brand into new cities across the UK. The investment was made by YFM Equity Partners via British Smaller Companies Venture Capital Trusts with support from Santander. As part of the deal, Steve Hill will join as Non-Executive Chairman.
