Gatt Technologies has developed a patented activated polyoxazoline technology to address severe and problematic surgical bleedings and organ leakages. Its lead product is the GATT-Patch, a fast hemostatic sealing patch intended for general surgery; the company is also developing GATT-Powder for laparoscopic use and GATT-Tape for intestinal anastomotic leakage. Gatt is assessing additional applications of its platform including bone regeneration, anti-adhesion, vascular, and ophthalmology. The company intends to use the funds to support the next clinical trial phase and further develop applications of its hemostatic technology platform. It expects to start clinical trials in Q2 2020 and aims to move GATT-Patch into clinical trials in Europe and the United States.
