Genvid Holdings, parent of Genvid Technologies LLC, builds advanced interactive streaming technology and has pioneered Massive Interactive Live Events (MILEs). The company was founded in 2016 by CEO Jacob Navok and is headquartered in New York City. Genvid offers the Genvid SDK, middleware available for free that can run on any streaming platform and infrastructure. It closed a $113m Series C and has raised a total of $166m since its founding. The firm plans to use the new capital to establish Genvid Entertainment LLC, a publishing subsidiary focused on producing and publishing MILEs via licensing of major IP beginning later this year. Genvid has also released a concept trailer titled Project Raven and added Cindy Holland, former Netflix VP Original Content, as an advisor for content strategy and acquisition.
