voilà is an 8-month-old Berlin-based startup that delivers fine-dining meals and curated restaurant experiences to customers at home by partnering with celebrated restaurants and Michelin-starred chefs. The Shopify-powered platform works with logistics partners GO! and DHL using an express fresh shipping service ( €9.90 in addition to the meal) to reach more than 1,200 cities across Germany. Founders Julius Wiesenhütter, Florian Berg, and Mostafa Nageeb draw on experience at Delivery Hero, Foodpanda and Foodora to build the product and operations. The company connects gastronomic partners such as Cookies Cream, Food Technique, Dim Sum Haus and chefs Hendrik Otto and Daniel Gottschlich to consumers via its platform. voilà recently raised $10 million and will use the capital to further develop its tech stack and run a recruitment drive to support pan-European expansion.
