GigaTrust provides email security and document protection software products for Windows PCs, tablets and smartphones, including users of Microsoft Office 365. Its GigaCloud service offers secure content protection, consumption and collaboration capabilities. GigaCloud also includes security, policy and compliance reporting plus external collaboration features designed to meet enterprise document security requirements. The service integrates with cloud file-sync and sharing services such as Dropbox, OneDrive and Google Drive. It is available as a multi-tenant offering or in private cloud configurations for enterprises requiring added security features and administrative control. Led by founder, chairman and CEO Robert Bernardi, the company will use the $20 million funding to expand its cloud offering.
