Overview
GoContractor is a New York- and Dublin, Ireland-based provider of a digital worker and subcontractor onboarding and data management solution. Led by CEO John Naughton, the platform focuses on training, managing, and connecting general contractors with workers and subcontractors in the construction industry. The entire onboarding and compliance process is completed online via any web-enabled device so workers arrive on site with paperwork and documentation completed. Companies can verify that every worker has received standardized, professional training through the platform. The company plans to use new funding to further scale across the US and European markets and to grow its sales, support, and marketing teams. It also intends to increase investment in its research and development organization located in Ireland. Initiafy provides an online software tool that lets companies build and deliver onboarding and job-specific training for contractors and temporary workers. Customers create training that covers on-the-job skills, administrative paperwork, and cultural integration, which users complete as self-paced sessions on computers or mobile devices. Employers can set review questions to unlock chapters, present content via text, audio or video in multiple languages, and update materials instantly to keep workers apprised of new standards or procedures. The company partners with firms across construction, mining, oil and gas, retail and hospitality, including Sodexo, Pfizer, Gilt, Gilbane, Balfour Beatty, Amey and Domino's Pizza. Initiafy rebranded from Induction Manager (EMEA) and Orientation Manager (US) to unify its online software under one brand. The company secured $1.5M in seed funding and plans to increase its United States presence, expecting over 300 percent growth in 2015.
