Overview
GoShare is a San Diego, California–based cloud-powered logistics startup that operates a marketplace for truck and van owners. Led by CEO Shaun Savage, the company connects a network of more than 10,000 delivery professionals to serve over 85,000 customers nationwide. Its proprietary delivery platform includes a Delivery API and four mobile apps for iPhone and Android, and it leverages machine learning and advanced algorithms using data from delivering over a million items to predict delivery times and offer fair, transparent pricing. Customers access an easy booking interface, real-time status updates, communication, exception handling, proof of delivery and automated billing; all deliveries on the platform are covered by a comprehensive cargo and liability insurance policy. Service is available in 33 major US metropolitan areas, with three more scheduled to launch in 2021. The company intends to use new funding to hire key executives, accelerate product development and expand geographically across the US.
