GoShare is a San Diego, California–based cloud-powered logistics startup that operates a marketplace for truck and van owners. Led by CEO Shaun Savage, the company connects a network of more than 10,000 delivery professionals to serve over 85,000 customers nationwide. Its proprietary delivery platform includes a Delivery API and four mobile apps for iPhone and Android, and it leverages machine learning and advanced algorithms using data from delivering over a million items to predict delivery times and offer fair, transparent pricing. Customers access an easy booking interface, real-time status updates, communication, exception handling, proof of delivery and automated billing; all deliveries on the platform are covered by a comprehensive cargo and liability insurance policy. Service is available in 33 major US metropolitan areas, with three more scheduled to launch in 2021. The company intends to use new funding to hire key executives, accelerate product development and expand geographically across the US. GoShare is a San Diego-based developer of an on-demand moving and delivery app, self-described as the "Uber for Trucks". Its platform connects local businesses' customers with third-party truck and van drivers for moving and delivery jobs. The startup is led by Shaun Savage. GoShare currently operates in San Diego, Los Angeles and New Jersey and plans to add Atlanta soon. In October 2016 the company raised $1M in a seed round. It said it will use the funding to improve its product and expand into new cities.
