Founded in 2023 in Helsinki by Kaiku Health alumni Lauri Sippola and Henri Viertolahti, Gosta Labs is building an oncology-focused AI operating system that converts every patient visit into high-quality structured data in real time. The platform summarises and visualises patient journeys, automates consultation notes, and links clinical decisions to international guidelines to support consistent, evidence-based care. Early real-world results presented at the ESMO 2025 Congress showed oncologists completing follow-up documentation in a median of under two minutes while the system automatically captured performance status and CTCAE toxicity grades. By reducing administrative burden and standardising data capture, the product aims to free clinicians for more direct patient interaction and improve treatment precision. The company plans to extend the reach of its AI assistant to oncology teams worldwide and further strengthen its medical-device-grade AI foundation. Gosta Labs has raised nearly €10 million to date, comprising a €1.7 million pre-seed round in 2024 and a new €7.5 million seed round.
