  • Gosta Labs

    Participated · Seed · Nov 2025

Founded in 2023 in Helsinki by Kaiku Health alumni Lauri Sippola and Henri Viertolahti, Gosta Labs is building an oncology-focused AI operating system that converts every patient visit into high-quality structured data in real time. The platform summarises and visualises patient journeys, automates consultation notes, and links clinical decisions to international guidelines to support consistent, evidence-based care. Early real-world results presented at the ESMO 2025 Congress showed oncologists completing follow-up documentation in a median of under two minutes while the system automatically captured performance status and CTCAE toxicity grades. By reducing administrative burden and standardising data capture, the product aims to free clinicians for more direct patient interaction and improve treatment precision. The company plans to extend the reach of its AI assistant to oncology teams worldwide and further strengthen its medical-device-grade AI foundation. Gosta Labs has raised nearly €10 million to date, comprising a €1.7 million pre-seed round in 2024 and a new €7.5 million seed round.

  • Videoly

    Participated · Series A · Feb 2022

Videoly searches YouTube for high-quality product videos and automatically embeds them on online stores’ product pages to give consumers richer information for purchase decisions. All videos are validated by a human viewer before being linked to ensure suitability. The platform also helps brands distribute original videos to retailers and control how and where their videos are shown, including placement next to add-to-cart buttons. Its solution is used by over 400 online retailers and brands globally, including Stadium, Bauhaus and Gigantti, reaching millions of consumers every month. Founded in 2014 and based in Helsinki, Videoly emphasizes a people-centric work culture and an equal gender balance in its management team. The company plans to grow further across Europe and North America and already has team members in Toronto as well as Helsinki. Videoly provides an e-commerce integration that finds and embeds relevant user-generated product video reviews on product pages so shoppers can watch reviews without leaving the merchant site. The company built a demo Chrome add-on that automatically adds videos on marketplaces like Amazon and eBay and emphasizes authenticity by matching independent blogger and consumer reviews to products. Videoly reports strong operating effects for customers: one client (HiFiSound.de) saw a 50% increase in sales over two months, average order value rose, users spent about 30% more time on site, and product return rates decreased. The team is split between Espoo/Helsinki (HQ and core technology) and Berlin (sales and customer service). Product roadmap focuses on improving the video search algorithm to better categorize review genre and add video quality filtering, and on securing partnerships with large online stores. Financially, Videoly has secured €120K from Finnish investors Reaktor Polte and Tekes and is seeking investors for a seed round early next year.

  • Swappie

    Participated · Series C · Feb 2022

Swappie operates an online marketplace that buys, refurbishes and sells iPhones to provide high-quality, affordable and eco-friendly phone upgrades. The company refurbishes devices using advanced technology to reduce environmental waste and extend device lifespans. It claims a refurbished iPhone has an 80% lower carbon footprint than a new one and notes that using a phone for an extra year cuts lifetime emissions by a third. Swappie reported €208M in sales in 2022, has grown to over 800 employees, and previously raised €149M in funding. Future plans highlighted in the announcement include investing in research and development, robotics to speed and improve repairs, improving refurbishment processes, expanding the product range, and growing internationally. Swappie refurbishes and resells used iPhones, managing the entire refurbishment process and selling devices via its own online marketplace with a 12-month warranty. The company emphasizes standardizing quality and promoting sustainability to make refurbished phones mainstream. It aims to scale across Europe and increase consumer trust in the refurbished smartphone sector. Swappie highlights environmental benefits of extending phone lifespans and cites market growth forecasts for used and refurbished smartphones. The company faces competition from other re-commerce players including Refurbed, Back Market, Swappa and Amazon Renew. Financially, Swappie has raised multiple funding rounds and recently completed a large growth financing to support expansion. Swappie is an e-commerce scale-up that refurbishes and resells used iPhones, operating its own factory to test and repair devices and offering a 12-month warranty. The company performs deep hardware repairs (including motherboard-level work) and uses original refurbished iPhone parts to maintain quality. Swappie reported revenues grew 4x from 2018 to 2019, exceeding $35M in net revenue in 2019, and recorded a 5x net revenue increase in April–May 2020 versus the same period in 2019. The team says it has refurbished and sold a six-figure (hundreds of thousands) number of iPhones to date. Swappie currently operates in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Italy and plans to expand to Germany, Ireland, Portugal and the Netherlands this summer.
