Grip Invest is a Gurgaon-based, around one-year-old fintech platform founded by Nikhil Aggarwal and Vivek Gulati that enables retail investors to take partial ownership of physical assets and earn fixed monthly returns. The company has facilitated around Rs 75 crore in investments and claims a user base of over 80,000 retail investors. Grip aims to facilitate investments worth Rs 1,000 crore by September next year. The startup will use the new funding to increase its range of investment products, launch new features, and strengthen its team. To date it has raised over $3.6 million across funding rounds. The platform positions itself as an alternative to traditional retail options like fixed deposits and mutual funds.
