Exponent Energy develops a proprietary full-stack energy solution that enables 15-minute rapid charging for commercial EVs and offers a 3,000-cycle life warranty using regular lithium-ion cells. The company combines its battery and charger technology with the Exponent OTO mobility platform and Exponent ONE financing and asset-management arm to address energy, vehicles and access to capital. Exponent highlights interoperability across its charging stations, millions of charging sessions and more than three years of field performance as evidence of commercial readiness. It aims to become the preferred energy partner for OEMs and to power millions of commercial vehicles across India. The company plans to use new capital to expand into additional cities and vehicle categories and to strengthen R&D as it scales its energy and asset-management offerings.

The company plans to scale operations and support large-scale deployment of EV assets over the next 18 months.

  • Wootz.work

    Participated · Series A · Mar 2026

Houston-based Wootzwork is an advanced engineering and manufacturing solutions company that positions itself as a single, accountable partner for OEMs running cross-border programs across India, Southeast Asia, and customer on-shore markets. The firm overlays proprietary engineering, governance, and execution systems on existing factory infrastructure, allowing suppliers to meet global quality standards without costly plant overhauls. Over the past year, Wootzwork managed manufacturing for more than 22 global enterprises across 12 trade lanes spanning North America, Europe, and APAC, activating a network of 300+ suppliers. It has delivered over 30 million parts and assemblies—ranging from precision components to custom machines—while maintaining 98 percent on-time delivery and quality compliance. Engineering and program teams are distributed across India, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany to stay closely aligned with customers while retaining ground-level oversight. Industries served include food processing, packaging, renewable energy, data centers, automotive engineering, material handling, warehousing, and industrial hardware. The company views manufacturing complexity as a competitive advantage when supported by its AI-driven control systems, and plans to deepen these capabilities and expand its engineering footprint with new capital.

  • Moonrider

    Participated · Series A · Dec 2025

Founded in 2023 by Anoop Srikantaswamy, Moonrider designs and builds electric tractors through a vertically integrated platform spanning drivetrain, battery systems and electronics. The company claims its machines can cut farming and land-preparation expenses by up to 80 percent while being priced on par with conventional diesel tractors. Its target market is the roughly one million tractors sold annually in India, where rising fuel and maintenance costs threaten farm profitability. Moonrider’s strategy focuses on heavy-duty models that improve operational efficiency and support a transition to more sustainable agriculture. The recent capital raise will fund the shift from pilot deployments to a full commercial rollout. Earlier in January, the firm secured a $2.2 million seed round that helped complete initial pilots and product validation.

  • Zeno

    Participated · Seed · Sep 2024

Founded in 2022 by former Tesla executive Michael Spencer, Zeno offers a vertically integrated solution that combines battery swapping stations, public fast chargers, home charging, a cloud-based operating system, and its Emara electric motorcycle. The company has already deployed more than 150 charge-point locations and operates in four East African cities, serving close to 1,000 motorbike and energy-subscription customers. Its technology claims to cut operating costs by 50% versus internal-combustion alternatives, and over 25,000 retail and fleet customers are on its waitlist. Zeno has completed development of three charging products, a proprietary battery system, and its first vehicle model. With offices in San Francisco, Nairobi, and Bangalore, the team includes alumni from Tesla, Ather, Zoom, and Ola Electric. New capital will be used to scale the charging network and ramp up Emara motorcycle production. Before the current round, the company had secured $9.5 million in seed funding led by Lowercarbon Capital.
