Founded in 2021 in Arras, Groupe Kovan acts as a single interlocutor for private individuals undertaking home-renovation or extension projects, handling contractor selection, paperwork and subsidy searches. The company earns revenue by charging a commission to the chosen construction firms, a fee that does not affect the customer’s price. After piloting its concept in-house, Kovan began national expansion via franchising in 2024 and already counts 13 franchises. Management targets at least 50 franchises by the end of 2027 and 100 longer-term, aiming for €4 million in consolidated revenue within five years. The 15-person startup reports breakeven in 2024, giving it a solid base for expansion. Current funds will be used to build internal teams, strengthen the legal structure of the franchise network and accelerate nationwide rollout.
