Haddock provides a SaaS platform that extracts line-item data from invoices and albaranes via OCR and applies AI to give restaurateurs real-time visibility into costs and revenues. Customers can capture invoice data with a single photo, automating expense tracking and enabling faster strategic decisions. The startup closed 2021 with more than 200 customers and has grown its staff by 85%, surpassing 20 employees. Haddock began participation in Y Combinator’s accelerator in January 2022, becoming the ninth Spanish company to join the program. The company plans to use the new funding to improve the product, accelerate growth and expand its customer reach. Target markets for 2022 include further expansion in Portugal and into Latin America.
