Happier is an iOS app that encourages users to capture, categorize and share small daily happy moments with friends and family. Users can jot a memory, attach a photo and tag moments with categories like food, exercise or time with friends. The app was founded by Nataly Kogan, former product VP at Where (sold to PayPal). The team envisions building a “happiness graph” by collecting and organizing data about what makes people happier, but says that goal requires sufficient user adoption. Happier launched on iOS and is Boston-based. The startup has raised $1.2 million from Resolute VC and Venrock.
