Resolute Ventures
140 Geary Street, San Francisco, CA, 94104, United States
Overview
Resolute is focused on finding extraordinary entrepreneurs and helping them succeed over the course of their career. Because our approach is so entrepreneur-focused, we are comfortable investing at the earliest of stages, often before any other investors. We make investment decisions quickly. Very soon after our first meeting, we will either pass or articulate a discrete roadmap to a decision. We will invest as little as $50k and as much as $750k in a company’s initial financing. We prefer being a lead investor and guiding our entrepreneurs to the key milestones for a successful venture round. We dislike “headless” seed rounds that lack a lead investor. Post investment we immediately focus on ensuring these milestones are clearly defined, and work to help our entrepreneurs achieve them. Rinse and repeat.

- Elio
Participated · Series A · Jul 2026
Elio develops sensors that prioritize AI-driven capture rather than human-visible imagery, using dynamic optical layers of micromirrors and on-optics computation so AI can decide what to capture in real time. Its approach treats sensing like software: modules can gain new capabilities after shipping as AI learns to correct and interpret the optics' behavior. The company describes applications across microscopy, semiconductor inspection, robotics and defense, including label-free live-cell observation, seeing through stacked chip layers to find buried defects, multi-sensing robotic modules, and long-range detection of small fast-moving threats. Elio is led by founder and CEO Nadav Grossinger and CTO Nitay Romano, who previously co-built Pebbles Interfaces (acquired by Meta) and led the physical-sensing stack for Meta’s AR/VR headsets. The firm emphasizes its core technology’s basis in diffractive optics and prior commercial and research experience of its leadership. Elio is headquartered in San Mateo, California.
- Savi Security
Participated · Seed · Jul 2026
Savi Security develops AI-driven tools to detect and intervene in modern AI-enabled scams, including text, email, voicemail, and phone-call attacks. The company launched a free submission site, Scam Wise, which has collected about 50,000 suspicious messages and provides in-the-wild data to train its models. Savi primarily leverages Google’s Gemini through an AI gateway that allows it to access other models for specialized tasks such as voice detection. Its paid iOS and Android app screens communications and offers live-call monitoring where a user can add a Savi listener to assess behavioral tells during a call. The service is offered via a family-priced plan at $8/month or $63/year covering multiple users on a single account. The company was founded by brothers Patrick and Ryan Coughlin, who bring backgrounds in national cyber defense, enterprise security, and consumer product roles.
- Kimba
Participated · Seed · Jun 2026
Kimba develops a sleep system that creates a personalized sleep profile for each user and delivers precisely timed olfactory cues using proprietary water-based and plant-derived scent formulations. Its device continuously monitors biometric signals—breathing patterns, movement, heart rate variability and stress indicators—via built-in sensors and integrations with wearables such as WHOOP, Oura, Apple Watch, Fitbit and Garmin. An adaptive AI analyzes this data in real time to tailor scent delivery throughout the night with the goal of improving sleep depth, continuity and recovery without drugs or wakeful interruptions. The company sells pre-orders that include a six-month membership, the Kimba device and a six-month supply of personalized scents for $299. Kimba plans to deploy the new funding to support its commercial launch and accelerate its go-to-market efforts.
- Brev
Led · Seed · Apr 2026
Brev offers AI-powered agents that join meetings, extract information from collaboration and productivity tools (including Slack, Jira, and Salesforce), and track how companies are performing against their goals. The product is designed to monitor action items and follow-through across distributed workflows. The company was co-founded by Chris Pitchford, formerly of Ally, and Vic Hu, a former Meta and Indeed engineer. Brev has roots in the Seattle region. The startup raised $3.3 million in pre-seed funding to support its development; the article does not provide revenue, user metrics, or detailed go-to-market plans. The piece notes context from the founders' background, including Microsoft’s discontinuation of Ally’s successor, Viva Goals, in 2025.
- Prowl
Led · Series A · Mar 2026
Prowl began as an active-lifestyle label but has since pivoted to men’s skincare and grooming, quickly resonating with young Indian consumers. Its current product lineup spans face wash, sunscreen, lip balm, body lotion, body wash, and roll-on deodorants, all positioned as simple, high-performance solutions for Indian skin types. The brand sells primarily through Amazon, Myntra, and Flipkart and reports profitability only six months after entering the grooming space, buoyed by strong repeat-purchase rates. Marketing and distribution partnerships managed by Lap Ventures have amplified awareness and customer acquisition. With fresh capital in hand, Prowl plans to introduce three science-backed serums and broaden its reach into India’s Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, where demand for affordable grooming products is rising. The company is also working with quick-commerce partners to enable same-day and next-day delivery, further improving accessibility. Tiger Shroff positions the brand as an extension of his own disciplined, straightforward approach to personal care, aiming to democratize quality men’s skincare across the country.
