The company launched after a US$5mn incubation investment from Cumberland Labs, which also provided blockchain development, product, engineering, legal, and go-to-market support. Cumberland Labs’ Head of Strategy, Tama Churchouse, said he is onboarding as Hashnote’s first client, indicating early institutional interest. Hashnote positions itself as the convergence of traditional and decentralized finance and aims to shape what finance will look like over the next decade.
