HEI Schools, founded in 2015 together with the University of Helsinki and based in Helsinki, offers a Finnish, research-based early education model through premium learning centres and a digital curriculum platform. Its product suite includes an easy-to-use digital curriculum, pedagogical tools, and a teacher certificate programme to enable local operators and teachers to implement Finnish methods in their own cultural contexts. To date, 14 HEI Schools learning centres operate across China, Australia, Indonesia, Korea, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Finland, with 16 additional centres planned to open in 2021 in the US, Canada, Kuwait and Thailand. More than 40 schools subscribe to the digital curriculum model and over 200 teachers from 30 countries have been onboarded to its certification programme. HEI positions itself as a premium, mission-driven provider focusing on children's holistic development, aiming to scale its digital offerings to reach millions. The company completed a €2 million Series A to support global expansion and further digital growth.
