Herbivore Botanicals produces non-toxic, therapeutic skincare and bath & body products formulated with concentrated vitamins, minerals and botanicals and presented with a minimalist aesthetic. The company’s portfolio spans 35+ SKUs. Founded in 2011 by Alex Kummerow and Julia Wills out of their Seattle kitchen, Herbivore has expanded retail distribution to more than 500 doors globally, including Nordstrom, Credo, Space NK, Carbon Beauty, Follain and Sephora (where it launched in 2015). The brand plans to use new capital to expand manufacturing capabilities and to increase brand awareness through digital and in-store marketing. The company recently closed a $15M Series A, providing additional resources to support those growth initiatives.
