Hickory's Smokehouse
Lea Hall Farm, Lea Lane, Aldford, Cheshire, CH3 6JQ, United Kingdom
Overview
Hickory’s Smokehouse operates American-style, family-friendly smokehouse and BBQ restaurants where meats are slow cooked for up to 12 hours on smokers imported from Memphis. The concept pairs large 5,000 sq ft sites with themed guest experiences such as chef’s tables, milkshake bars and children’s play areas, and stresses exceptional customer service. The business was founded by Neil McDonnell in 2010 and currently runs three units in Chester, West Kirby and Rhos-on-Sea. Management intends to use investment to support a roll-out and plans to open a further 10 restaurants over the next three to five years. The company has recruited industry veteran Paul Campbell as chairman to support growth. Piper has made a material financial investment to back the expansion.
