HolidayFox is a London-based startup offering an end-to-end search platform for camping enthusiasts and a listing and management platform for campsite owners. Its product lets users search by amenities (playground, yurts), features (sea views, big groups), onsite or nearby activities (canoeing, biking), and personal likes (beach, mountains). The company aims to digitise the camping market in the UK and across continental Europe and to simplify campsite discovery and booking. HolidayFox also targets new short-term campsite operators created under UK guidelines that allow anyone to open a campsite for up to 56 days per year, providing exposure and management tools. The startup raised £1.17 million in pre-seed funding led by Fuel Ventures and plans to use the proceeds to expand and scale its engineering and operations teams. It was founded by former colleagues Jason Green and Richard Hooker. Domestic camping demand has grown sharply, with UK residents exploring the island by a margin of 307%.
