Co-founded in 2011 by Charles-Edouard Girard and Emmanuel Arnaud, GuestToGuest operates a peer-to-peer home exchange marketplace accessible through web and mobile apps. Users register for free, list one or more homes and can exchange stays either reciprocally or via a point system called GuestPoints for non-reciprocal exchanges. The platform lists 280,000 homes in 187 countries and has set a goal of reaching one million users by 2019. GuestToGuest is known in European markets and intends to expand its global footprint through strategic growth. The company plans to use newly raised funds to acquire U.S.-based HomeExchange, which brings 65,000 listings in 150 countries and established U.S. market presence.
