- Ma Bonne Étoile
Led · Equity · Sep 2020
Ma Bonne Etoile develops zero‑waste reusable products for families, with its flagship SQUIZ reusable food pouches. The company sources over 60% of SQUIZ’s product cost from local suppliers and has prevented the creation of more than 50 tons of non-recyclable consumer waste since commercial launch. It is one of the first French companies to obtain B Corp certification and holds the top French score on the B Impact Assessment. The startup systematically invests 2% of its turnover in associative projects as part of its social mission. The fresh funds will support new product launches, including a snack box under the SQUIZ brand and a forthcoming Fillgood brand focusing on zero‑waste family products like a plant‑material bento‑shaped lunch box.
- Linxo Group

Linxo builds an app that connects to dozens of French banks to give users a consolidated view of balances and transactions. Users provide bank login credentials and Linxo’s servers periodically sync past transactions to produce charts and spending insights. The product is positioned as a Mint-like personal finance tool for the French market. The company is developing a broader financial hub with features such as inter-account transfers, savings tools, credit lines and insurance distribution. Linxo is building Linxo Connect to let users sign up for new financial services via APIs without leaving the app. With new funding, the startup plans to expand to other European countries and to work with French banks on their apps and websites. Linxo is a mobile and online personal financial management service based in Aix-en-Provence, France. Founded in 2010 by Bruno Van Haetsdaele, the company provides consumers with a platform to analyze, manage and optimize their financial assets. The app lets users budget, compare and evaluate personal assets in a single centralized interface to make better financial decisions and save money. Linxo has built an algorithm that predicts the trend of a bank account. To date the app has been used by over 850k people. The company intends to use the funds to support its international growth.

SeaBubbles is developing eco-friendly speed "bubbles" that can "fly on water" to supplement ground transportation in urban areas. The concept is positioned as an alternative urban transport solution without noise or pollution. The company already has one prototype and plans to use new funding to build a second, faster prototype. SeaBubbles raised €10 million from the MAIF Avenir investment fund to accelerate that development. The startup plans a world tour to demonstrate the new prototype, beginning in Paris on the Seine and then visiting cities in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the US through the end of 2018. A few months earlier the company completed a €3 million raise.

CBien intends to use the funds to expand its reach across France and to enter international markets, targeting Germany and the United Kingdom first. It will continue to develop the platform. The platform currently has 4,200 users and 600 listed vehicles in France.
