Hoopers operates a technology platform and app that connects fans, brands and basketball players, and offers services such as court revitalization, event organization and product launches. In Brazil — where it has operated for about a year — Hoopers has executed five court revitalizations, 20 event circuits, built a sports/formative platform focused on women’s basketball and licensed engagement technology at major events. The startup plans to expand its platform, accelerate new product launches for clubs, leagues, federations and brands, and pursue consolidation in Brazil with further expansion into Latin America. Hoopers intends to open a São Paulo office in 2025 and hire in commercial, marketing and technology roles. The company recently raised more than R$13 million in a seed round to support these growth plans.
