House of Student operates a technology platform for student accommodation, offering online booking and housing network management across major global education destinations. Founded in February last year by Vaibhav Verma, the company says it has more than 2.5 million verified student rooms across over 25 countries, including the UK, US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UAE, Singapore, and 18 European countries. The startup is dual-headquartered in Gurugram and the U.S. and plans to expand into AI-enabled student support services while strengthening its AI capabilities. House of Student competes with firms such as Uhomes, Amber, and Uniplaces. The company announced a $2 million seed raise composed of equity and debt to fund product innovation, housing supply expansion, AI development, and global growth. Verma previously founded Unilodgers, which reached a $109 million valuation in its first institutional funding round.
