House of Student competes with firms such as Uhomes, Amber, and Uniplaces. The company announced a $2 million seed raise composed of equity and debt to fund product innovation, housing supply expansion, AI development, and global growth. Verma previously founded Unilodgers, which reached a $109 million valuation in its first institutional funding round.
