Huler builds HulerHub, a SaaS employee experience platform that acts as a ‘digital window’ to bring together the different software, apps and content employees need while providing HR teams with usage and engagement insights. Launched in early 2022 by HR and worktech expert Nicky Hoyland with entrepreneur Gareth Mobley, the platform was quickly adopted by clients including Travelodge, Centrica, EE, Qinetiq, St James’s Place Wealth Management and US-based Dairy Queen. The company says many clients have expanded their use of the product since adoption. Huler is on course to increase annual recurring revenue by 160% in the current financial year. The business intends to use new funding to further develop the platform, grow revenues and create ten new roles. As part of the latest funding round it appointed David Kelly as Chief Revenue Officer; he has over 20 years’ experience in HR tech, including leading IBM’s talent management solutions business in Europe. Huler, based in Stoke, UK, provides HulerHub, a fully personalised employee experience platform. The platform has been deployed with customers ranging from Fortune 500 firms to start-ups, including Dairy Queen, Travelodge, Centrica, Santander, BT, St. James’s Place and L’Oréal. Led by CEO Nicky Hoyland, Huler currently employs 53 staff and was backed early by serial entrepreneur Gareth Mobley, who serves as Executive Chair. Mobley previously sold his Stoke-based DW3 Products Group to Masonite International in 2018. The company raised £2M in funding in a round led by Mercia’s EIS funds, the MEIF Proof of Concept & Early Stage Fund, and private investors to further develop its platform. Huler plans to use the proceeds to advance product development and create at least 12 new jobs in the year ahead.
