Huxe
1731 Technology Drive, Ste 685, San Jose, CA, 95110, United States
Overview
Built by three former Google NotebookLM developers—Raiza Martin, Jason Spielman and Stephen Hughes—Huxe offers a daily audio briefing by parsing incoming email and calendar events, then layering in news and topic explorations that play like multi-host podcasts. Users can ask the AI hosts follow-up questions or request alternative explanations at any point, enabling a conversational research experience. The app also lets listeners create continuous “live stations” on themes such as tech news, sports or celebrity gossip, refreshing content from multiple sources as stories evolve. Launched on an invite-only basis in June 2025, Huxe is now publicly available on iOS and Android. Early usage has mirrored NotebookLM’s power-user feedback loops, targeting people who juggle many browser tabs and prefer screen-free information consumption. While currently focused on information and news, the team sees entertainment-oriented audio generation as a future expansion path. No revenue or user figures were disclosed, but the company positions itself against other AI-audio players including ElevenLabs and Oboe.
