Overview
Hydraloop develops IoT-connected greywater recycling systems that reduce total in-house water consumption by 25–45%. Its devices collect and treat greywater from showers, baths, washing machines and condensation using a six-technology process (sedimentation, flotation, dissolved air flotation, foam fractionation, an aerobic bioreactor and UV disinfection) without filters, membranes or chemicals. Products meet standards including US NSF-350 and European EN-16841 and are offered in four variants (H300, H600, Concealed and Cascade) for homes, businesses and larger buildings. The company launched to market in November 2017 after founder Arthur Valkieser developed a compact, low‑maintenance unit from prototype work. Hydraloop works with 130 partners in 35 countries installing systems in residences, hotels, sports facilities, student housing and other high‑water‑usage buildings. The company will use the funds to scale global B2B sales and develop strategic partnerships in markets where governments are encouraging or mandating greywater recycling. Hydraloop is based in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands, and has closed €10.5M so far in its Series B (of a €13.5M round).
