Hygraph

Dircksenstraße 47, Berlin, 10178, Germany

Overview

Hygraph provides a “federated content” platform that unifies many data sources and many endpoints behind a single, universal content API built around GraphQL and composable architecture. The product is API-first and designed to integrate front-end and back-end systems, enabling near real-time updates across multiple platforms and experiences. The company says its approach targets large organizations coping with high traffic and fragmented formats, including e-commerce and media use cases. Hygraph has around 400 customers, including Samsung, Philips and Dr Oetker. In September it released an API to broaden where and how the platform can be used. The company plans to use the new funding to continue product development and to expand into new geographies. GraphCMS is a Berlin-based enterprise content management platform that enables organizations to build and deliver omnichannel digital experiences via APIs. The platform currently enables nearly 50,000 teams worldwide to power use cases from company intranets to financial-services products and video-on-demand platforms. GraphCMS serves a growing portfolio of enterprise customers across Europe and the United States. The company plans to use the new funding to increase its focus on API integrations, accelerate product adoption, and scale its team globally with particular emphasis on North America and Europe. It also intends to expand partnerships with digital agencies, software integrators, and technology partners to rapidly scale its footprint. Noted customers include Shure, 2U Inc., Telenor and two European government bodies. GraphCMS provides a Headless CMS that lets web developers and digital marketers collect and distribute content for websites, apps and other web applications from a single source. The product uses a GraphQL core engine and was recently rebranded and updated to target mid-to-large scale organizations seeking enterprise-grade CMS capabilities. Approximately 30,000 developers and businesses use GraphCMS, including customers such as Unilever, Shure, Prym and Discovery. The company says its platform helps customers deliver omni-channel experiences at scale, reduce time to launch new applications and increase ROI. GraphCMS was founded in 2017 in Germany. The new funding will be used to further develop the product and strengthen growth in mid-to-large enterprise segments across North America and Europe.
