Hyperplane is a San Francisco–based startup building foundation models to help banks predict customer behavior and deliver personalized experiences. It offers APIs and task-specific models, currently providing modules for audience segmentation and lookalike audience creation; deployments are private and the company says it does not share customer data. Hyperplane also launched Mandelbrot LLM, a model tailored to predict events like customer churn and which bank a user treats as primary. The company is already working with about a dozen banks in Brazil and reports that its service helped a neobank credit-limit division increase transaction volume by 46%. Hyperplane plans to expand into the U.S. and, over time, to apply its technology to other verticals. The founding team includes Felipe Lamounier (CEO), Daniel Silva, Rohan Ramanath and Felipe Meneses, who bring experience from StartSe, Google and LinkedIn.
