Ialoc.ro operates the largest online reservations marketplace in Romania, aggregating restaurants and users onto a single booking platform. Launched in 2017, it addressed a young market where many Romanian restaurants previously managed reservations on paper or simple files. The platform reports 460,000 "clienți așezați" (seated customers) and says it is on the verge of reaching mass-market after validation by early adopters. Ialoc.ro plans to diversify its offering and evolve from a B2B model toward a B2B2C approach to serve end consumers directly. The company has an exclusive partnership in Romania with Tripadvisor (signed at the end of 2019), routing bookings through ialoc.ro when restaurants have contracts with the local platform.
