Overview

Founded in 2017, iFollow develops collaborative autonomous robots (cobots) to assist order pickers in refrigerated and freezing warehouse environments. Its first product, the iLogistics robot, can carry up to 300 kg and operate at temperatures down to -25°C while adapting to different types of carts. The company says its solution delivers a minimum 30% productivity gain and improves picking quality and pre‑conditioning of orders. iFollow targets the demanding food‑logistics refrigerated market and is expanding into adjacent retail use cases with a developing iRetail autonomous cart for merchandising, stock analysis, and automatic replenishment. The startup has a team of about 10 people and has already signed Toupargel as a customer. The fundraise will be used to industrialize production, recruit technical and commercial staff, and deploy a target of 100 robots by the end of 2018. iFollow builds autonomous mobile robots (AMR) designed to facilitate order picking, transport heavy loads in warehouses and support supply-chain operations. The start-up employs around 40 people. After successful pilots, CEO Vincent Jacquemart says the objective is to scale up and commercialize their autonomous robot for logistics. With this financing, iFollow intends to take the next step toward marketing and broader deployment. Backers highlight a large addressable market—described as worth "tens of billions"—with at least 50,000 industrial sites in Europe and 100,000 industrial sites plus 30,000 warehouses worldwide. The company raised new capital to support that go-to-market and scaling effort.
