IIMK LIVE (Laboratory for Innovation Venturing and Entrepreneurship) functions as the dedicated business incubator of the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. The incubator focuses on translating early-stage technological ideas into market-ready products by providing seed funding, structured mentorship, and business-model guidance. As an approved incubator under the Department of Science and Technology’s NIDHI-SSP programme, it channels government resources to bridge the gap between prototype development and commercial launch. IIMK LIVE emphasises scalable, socially impactful innovation, aligning with IIM Kozhikode’s broader mission of fostering responsible entrepreneurship in India. In its latest initiative, the incubator has extended close to ₹1 crore to three startups, demonstrating its ability to mobilise public innovation funds. The organisation regularly conducts formal agreements and disbursement ceremonies to ensure transparent deployment of capital and continuous engagement with portfolio companies.
