Overview
Illimis Therapeutics develops therapies for central nervous system and immune disorders using its proprietary GAIA (Gas6-mediated Anti-Inflammatory Adaptor) platform. The company's lead program, ILM01 for Alzheimer's Disease, is entering preclinical development in the second half of 2025 with an IND targeted by the end of 2027. Proceeds from the recent financing will accelerate GAIA-based Alzheimer's programs, expand target indications into various immune disorders, and broaden its pipeline toward potential blockbuster candidates. Illimis is pursuing early-stage co-development with global pharmaceutical companies and research institutions and has established collaborations including Eli Lilly's Catalyze360-ExploR&D, participation in BMS Innovation Square Challenge, and membership in JLABS Singapore. A Scientific Advisory Board that includes Dr. Greg Lemke and Dr. Morgan Sheng provides strategic guidance across R&D, candidate discovery, and clinical trial design. The company was selected for the '2025 Global Joint Research to Defeat Dementia' and secured KRW 2.2 million ($1.6 million) in funding over three years to support international Alzheimer's research efforts.
