Incrowd

480 Pleasant St, Watertown, Massachusetts, 02472, United States

Overview

Incrowd’s platform enables attendees to capture and view curated, user-generated footage alongside live events, and saves all footage for event organizers after the event. The product was created through a collaboration between Invoke and 5X festival and is co-founded by Olivia Bell, Dominic Wong, and Tarun Nayar. The team ran a prototype test in December 2021, deployed at 5X in 2022, and in 2023 the software was used at 26 events including Bass Coast Friendsgiving and Monstercat ADE in Amsterdam. Incrowd is marketed to event organizers and aims to enhance audience engagement at music, arts, and cultural events by putting attendees “in the director’s seat.” The company is in talks with organizers for activations at South by Southwest and the Vancouver International Film Festival and is eyeing the rebranded Web Summit Vancouver. The newly secured C$1.3 million will be used for product development, marketing, and go-to-market strategies.
