Overview
Indaband is a social music-collaboration app that lets musicians and vocalists record video tracks and stitch others' performances on top to create multitrack video songs. Users can upload prerecorded files or use the app's recording booth and multitrack video studio to record and mix unlimited video tracks across sessions. The app includes discovery features such as daily curated playlists across genres, and social features like likes, comments, reposts and collaborator notifications. Indaband plans a "Circles" feature for user communities, potential live events, and a possible Patreon-like paid-content offering for established creators. Early adopters are skilled musicians, while the company intends to broaden to beginners over time. The co-founders—CEO Daniel Murta, CTO Andrews Medina, Head of Engineering Helielson Santos and Design Leader Emerson Farias—developed the idea while working at legal tech company Jusbrasil and later left to focus on Indaband full-time.
