Indeez is a Paris-based insurtech focused on providing income protection and usage-based benefit programs for independent and platform workers such as gig workers, freelancers and temporary staff. Its proprietary technology enables workers to access affordable, usage-based protections through a single interface and lets platforms manage multi-country programs. The startup has launched products including CoviSure, a market-first cash benefit for Covid infection, and has partnered with over 20 European platforms including Deliveroo, Brigad and Helpling. Founded in 2020 by Vikas Chhariya, Indeez positions itself to address liability, work-accident, sick-pay and everyday business-interruption risks for platform communities. The company will use fresh funding to further develop new products and market innovations in line with its mission. To date the platform has raised almost $13 million over the past 15 months.
