Ingress Healthcare operates a platform that distributes spare consulting rooms in hospitals and clinics to general practitioners and specialists. The platform also manages administration and helps doctors book clients. It went live in December of last year and was founded in 2018 by three doctors: Jason McArthur (CEO), Noxolo Gqada and Nicolina Bardou. The company raised a R6-million investment to help scale the platform. The service is positioned to be useful during the Covid-19 pandemic as many doctors have shut their consulting rooms.
